Pinnacle Grill on Holland America’s Eurodam

I was fortunate to be able to dine twice at Pinnacle Grill on Eurodam during my January 2025 Caribbean cruise. Both times the food was excellent but service was disappointing. On my first visit we were seated at an undesirable table that shouldn’t exist in a specialty restaurant with another table immediately next to it on one side and a loud server prep station on the other. The maitre’d said we would have to wait more than a half hour if we wanted another table.

On my second visit, the server’s greeting was “Do you know what you’d like to order?” and didn’t even try to make small talk or provide recommendations. Pinnacle Grill on Eurodam definitely offers a specialty menu but not specialty-level service in my opinion that’s reflective of the $46 per person cover charge.
