Planks BBQ restaurant on Emerald Princess: Menu and review

Planks BBQ is a casual restaurant that takes over the aft section of the buffet on alternating evenings throughout the cruise. I tried Planks twice on my Norway and Iceland cruise on Emerald Princess in July 2025 and was impressed. The service was better than I’ve received in many specialty restaurants and the food was very good. If you like BBQ then this is a must-try during your cruise!

Planks is considered a casual dining venue with a $15 cover charge. If you have the Premier package, you can dine here as many times as you’d like for free. If you have the Plus package, you can apply one of the included casual dining credits to avoid the cover charge.

Starters
