I missed my cruise ship (part 1): 12 planning lessons learned

After more than 30 cruises where I embarked with hours to spare, I joined the “I missed my ship” club earlier this year in Fort Lauderdale thanks to 6+ hours of delays in Toronto. It was a stressful experience but I learned a lot, made some wonderful new friends and discovered a fantastic hotel in St. Thomas that ended up being the highlight of my entire vacation – even after eventually meeting the ship (Regal Princess). Join me as I explore the 12 lessons I learned that can hopefully help with your future cruise travel planning.

In the next episode, I’ll cover what my new friends and I learned about travel insurance and Canada’s flight delay compensation regulations after we filed our claims.
