The Sanctuary is broken. Here are 4 ways Princess can fix it

The Sanctuary is one of the most luxurious sun decks at sea so it’s no surprise that it’s one of the most popular amenities on Princess ships. But the only way to get a reservation is to line up at the beginning of the cruise and cross your fingers. Every time I’ve managed to get in, I can’t believe how empty it is and how low the prices are considering the quality of the experience. Princess has a gem on its hands but I would argue as a loyal guest and a shareholder of its parent company that it’s poorly managed. In this episode of the Chill Cruiser, I explore the many ways Princess can better manage the incredible demand for the Sanctuary while improving the experience at the same time. Some of the suggestions are bound to be unpopular but when there’s such a massive imbalance between supply and demand, something’s got to give!

I completely agree with you on all 4 points! I would be willing to pay more, as long as it wasn’t too crazy. The one time that I was able to use the Sanctuary, it was a very cold day and there were barely 10 people in there. Even so, our loungers were out in the open and it was miserable. We weren’t allowed to move to a covered space because they were reserved by “No Shows”.

it would be nice if the area was a little more protected from the cold and wind or if they had heaters.

Thank you for the great videos!
