These ports reduce cruise ship emissions with onshore power systems


Hundreds of cruise ships have the capability to connect to onshore power systems, which allows them to turn off their engines and almost completely avoid any emissions while docked. Here are the 36 ports around the world that are equipped to provide onshore power. You can find a list of ports that are preparing to install onshore power in some or all of their berths here, which was compiled by the Cruise Lines International Association.
