O’Malley’s Irish Pub on Emerald Princess: Menus and review

The Wheelhouse Bar was recently converted to an O’Malley’s Irish pub, which is a loyal Princess cruiser favorite from newer ships. This was the best format I’ve seen because it’s a much larger space – at least three to four times larger than the O’Malley’s on Enchanted or Sun Princess so it was always easy to get a table and rarely felt crowded.

I loved the vibe and decor, especially the lounge areas with very comfortable couches.

This is considered a casual dining venue with a $15 cover charge. If you have the Premier package, you can dine here as many times as you’d like. If you have the Plus package, you can apply one of the included casual dining credits to avoid the cover charge.

I had lunch and dinner here several times on my 14 day cruise and was impressed with both the food and service. All of the servers and bartenders worked really well together as a team. This is a great place to go to watch the game or to enjoy a meal without worrying about a dress code. They also had live music every evening.

O’Malley’s serves lunch on sea days – just get your food order in before the kitchen closes at around 1:15pm. Bar service remains available until the kitchen re-opens for dinner and then late night bites.
